Mu Omicron
Advancing the Art of Orchestral Education
Mu Omicron promotes the orchestral profession, fosters mentorship, honors leadership, and connects orchestra directors across Texas.
Our Mission
A community built for orchestra directors
We exist to support orchestra directors at every stage — from first-year teachers to veterans of 30 seasons. Our chapter provides a forum for training, recoginition, and collegial exchange.
Resources that move the profession forward
Mu Omicron connects members with grants, master teachers, award recognition, and a growing directory of Texas orchestral talent — all in service of a thriving orchestral community.
